School trips and workshops run by visiting specialists are an important and enjoyable part of school life, providing children with an opportunity to learn first-hand and to reinforce class work. Places visited include: the Globe Theatre, the Golden Hinde, the Air Raid Shelters in Stockport, the Sea Life Centre, Stockley Farm, Pizza Express, Tatton Park and the National History Museum.
Numerous opportunities are also provided for visitors to come into school such as: science shows, emergency services, authors and travelling theatre production teams.
An annual residential trip takes place for the Upper Juniors at various residential centres. These trips promote teamwork, cement friendships, and enhance independence and confidence in our children.
