‘The school works in close and effective partnership with parents’
‘Parents praise the provision’ - ISI 2010

There is an active P.T.F.A. and social and fundraising events are organised on a regular basis. We recognise that children do better when there is a close working relationship between home and the school.

We aim to share information about children's learning and support and encourage parental interest by inviting parents to:

  • attend Parents' Evenings
  • join us for worship, celebration and concerts
  • assist with educational visits, theatre trips and outing
  • provide extra support or share their experiences in the classroom when particular topics are being covered
  • support our homework policy
  • complete annual parental surveys

Annual Survey

An important part of our school philosophy and a key aim of the PTFA is to engage parents and children in helping to assess and where neccessary improve the services the school and our staff provide. In order to achieve this we ask all parents and pupils to complete an annual survey. The surveys can be completed online or if preferred you can download and print a copy which can be returned to the school office or by post. All surveys are anonymous. We will be contacting parents when the surveys are released.
