The admissions procedure begins in early Spring. Following an invitation to Open Day, parents and children are then invited to an informal interview
and places are offered at Easter. The class has 24 full time places. Children who are offered places are then welcomed into school at our New Entrants morning.
Early years education is important in its own right. Planned and purposeful play creates an environment where we can successfully build on our childrens interests and appetite for learning.
The curriculum is based on the strengths and needs of each individual child. There is a strong emphasis on developing the personal and social skills
which encourage children to build relationships and become enthusiastic learners.
We want all children to feel safe and secure during their first weeks at school and a good home-school partnership helps us achieve this. We work hard to develop close relationships with parents by providing regular opportunities to meet with staff, become familiar with the resources being used and by providing useful information and opportunities for feedback.
