In our commitment to the whole child and thanks to the dedication of the staff we are able to offer a wide range of extra-curricular activities.
Activities range from lunchtime clubs including badminton, chess, computer and flute to after school clubs for netball, football, choir, fencing, Irish dancing and cookery. Additional classes for writing, mathematics and french also take place.
Tuition in music and participation in musical activities and drama are an integral part of school life. Private individual lessons are available in the violin, flute, piano and guitar.
A wide ranging programme for Physical Education includes hockey, athletics, football and netball. Teams take part in organised fixtures against other schools and compete in swimming and athletics meeting annually. All children have access to 'state of the art' sports facilities at the nearby high school and Holy Cross Sixth Form College, opposite the school. All pupils from nursery upwards enjoy Street Dance classes and specialist coaching takes place for netball and football.
