Pupil Progress Updates
Formal assessments take place throughout the year. These assessments allow us to track individual pupil progress and create personal targets to ensure each child continues to make progress. These results will be reported to parents at the end of each term in the form of a Target Letter. We conduct national standardised tests through the Rising Stars and Abacus Porgrammes, each term. InCAS testing is carried out in the summer term. The results from these assessments are used to highlight where pupils may need additional support or extra challenge and are shared with parents.
Parent’s evenings and written reports
There are two parents’ evenings per year, one in the autumn and a second in the spring term. Three Target letters are issued throughout the year and a final comprehensive written report is given at the end of the summer term. However, teachers are usually available before and after school for brief chats or, should you have any particular concerns or require an extended conversation, these can be made by appointment via the school office.
